A Smelly Disappointment
We walked in and the place smelled of rotten eggs. They had a tone of air freshener trying to cover the smell. We proceeded to check in and after they charge cards and done that’s when they say oh and the pool is closed. We rented 2 rooms. It was our daughter’s birthday and we stayed there for the pool. I then expressed that and they were not very nice about it but they offered to cancel the rooms free of charge. However they could have called people to let them know before hand but nobody cares. Luckily the Sheraton down the street still had 5 rooms available. I asked about how long the charge would stay and he said a couple hours. It was last Saturday still being charged and Incalled on Monday and she said wait a couple of days . Yet it’s Friday and still Marriott has holds on money. That can be detrimental to people if funds are low.
