The check-in was very impersonal and hurried, even when there was no queue. Very little information about the hotel amenities. They did not ask for my credit card, so I could not charge anything to the room. I would recommend that the hotel management improves the training of the staff to give a better customer experience. The room, while large by London standards, seemed worn and was a bit noisy (Being a a corner room at an intersection may have played a part here). I asked for a second duvet, but got a duvet cover filled with a blanket, which ended up giving me a cold (I only noticed the next day that it was not a proper duvet). The gym was well equipped and nice. The breakfast was nice, a pretty standard buffet . Missed a better selection of meats, especially since the restaurant was Italian; I expected for instance some "prosciutto di Parma" or similar... Location was OK, within a short walking distance of Swiss Cottage Underground.
The disinfectant dispensers were chronically not working during my 4 day stay. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful; He recommended and booked two places to eat and they both lived up to our expectations.
In total, though, I was a bit disappointed, and expected something more than this at the price I payed. I will not likely choose this hotel again.
