My stay at the DoubleTree were not what I was expecting when I booked for a longer period of stay. I could write site review a lot longer if I wasn't too tired of staying in the hotel as long as I did, which was an exhausting ordeal. I was first given a room where there literally was dirt in every single corner, and from what I could only assume was black mold in the shower.
You would expect a doubletree by Hilton to have good standards, at this hotel they had not. The staff was helpful though, I got a somewhat better room later on during the stay, but they have indoor AC units that live their own life. Even the improved room was a nightmare to sleep in. For 10 days I could not have one night of good sleep because the AC unit sounded like a jet-engine. Thank good there was a plug so I could turn the power to it off - cause the control panel didnt work at any of the rooms, turning it off - would not turn it off, and I measured the sound level in the room 3 meters away from the AC unit to be about 80 dba. It was literally impossible to sleep at some days if you werent totally exhausted from before.
They did not have a roomservice one would expect, it had limited opening hours and they did not serve breakfast to the room. To close things off, I would never suggest this hotel to anyone in the future, unless they were looking for pain. I coughed and had green spit when I woke up during the morning, from what I only can assume would come from the AC pushing dirt at all hours.
