6/10 – Bra

The stay was okay; it seemed quite overpriced for what it was worth. We stayed in two different hotels in Tokyo, and one of them was in Ginza; the other one was this one. There was a certain awkwardness of having a bar/restaurant on the first floor, as everyone that wanted to go the elevator to get to their rooms had to go through the possibility of being a guest not to the hotel but to the restaurant and got eyed by the staff. We were a bit unlucky as there was a DJ at the restaurant and a wedding on another night. The wedding was extremely awkward as a guest. We had to go outside for dinner while there was a wedding reception and had to go in our casual clothes through guests that were there for the wedding. And later with our suitcases as we were leaving.
The breakfast was our biggest disappointment, as we had already stayed at two cheaper hotels one in Tokyo Ginza and the other in Kyoto. Both of those hotels had exceptional buffet breakfasts with mixes of Japanese breakfast and Western. There were only 3 warm types of breakfast in this hotel, and the others were either cereal or salad, one of the warm options was often cold as there was no electrical plate to keep them warm. You were also always asked if you wanted a focaccia for breakfast, either small or large. But it seems nobody knows what actual focaccia is because you get a calzone without filling. The restaurant is also heavily overpriced compared to the restaurants around the area double the price.
