Once we arrived at the hotel after 6 o’clock, we had to wait over 45 minutes/1 hour for our room to be ready, which I felt was unacceptable because they made the excuse that it wasn’t clean yet. Then once we got to our room, we noticed the door was open, the lock on the door was not working properly so we weren’t able to Leave the room until maintenance. Came up to figure it out. So this went on for two days, maintenance did finally get it fixed where we were able to to come and go with ease. With the overall experience, I had also called for an upgraded suite prior to my stay and that was not available, so I ended up getting a regular room, which is fine in the grand scheme of things, but it’s not what I requested. Another big frustration was valet, they have a QR code that allows you to scan and get your car but each time we try to do that. It wasn’t working properly so we had to wait an extra 10/15 minutes for that car to be brought up. I did speak to the front desk associate, last night and early this morning once we checked out, he adjusted the resort fee, from our bill, which we do appreciate it for all the inconvenience, it doesn’t leave me, wanting to come back to the Watergate hotel.
