Positive issues:
- Located very close to the main entrance of Milan Central (Railway) Station.
- Many restaurants and small supermarkets in the neighbourhood.
- Had a room on the top 5th floor which had a balcony and some view.
- Trouble with closing the balcony door was solved and repaired very fast by the reception and a friendly janitor.
Negative issues:
- Stated in the hotels.com description that the room had air condition, and yes it had, but the persons in the reception said that they couldn't turn it on at this season due to Milan law. Thus we had temperatures above 28 degrees C in the afternoon/evening/night, which could be lowered to about 27 degrees C by opening the balcony door, which lead to two other problems as described below (mosquitoes and heavy noise). However, for some reasons, the air condition was turned on the last night and cold air streamed out from the ceiling opening. Also note that residents in neighbour hotel rooms may look into your room from their balcony (when curtains are open) and they may even step over a small fence and onto your balcony, making it important to lock the balcony door when you are sleeping or away.
- Got a lot of mosquito bites (around 15) during the stay which were very itchy and thus creating bleeding wounds when not being able to not scratch several of them (balcony door had to be open to lower the temperature and create some "fresh" air flow).
- Very noisy outside especially during night, also with balcony door closed.
