This hotel was a great disappointment to me; it promised so much and delivered so little. Avoid single rooms: it was little more than a closet; a cabin more than a room. It was also depressingly dusty and smelly. Surprisingly, the ensuite bathroom was much nicer. The other main fault of this hotel was the extremely poor breakfast service. I had to wait for half an hour to be noticed, and at the end had to alert the reception for a waiter to serve me. Their excuse was that everybody wanted breakfast at the same time, although I was the only person in the room much of that time. The advantage of this hotel is the quiet neighbourhood, and the potential coziness of the house itself, but it is, unfortunately very much faded and past its prime. It was definitely not worth the high price I had to pay. They charge as if they are a luxury hotel, and deliver for a two-star. Had the place been bettered managed, I would have considered staying again, in a bigger room, but in its present state, I would definitely stay clear.
