The only thing suggesting this is a 5-star hotel, is the views and the size of the rooms. Lots of issues:
- I booked separate beds, but when arriving, it turned out it was only registered as a "request" for separate beds. Luckily this was sorted out.
- We got to hotel around noon. There was no room available, which was ok. We hence checked in, left our luggage behind and went to city. When we got back 3-4 hours later, we wanted to get our luggage, but front office insisted to bring it to room "in 5 minutes". We accepted, but wanted luggage asap as we wanted to go swimming. After 20 minutes there was still no luggage and I hence went down. I was told they would speed up. After 25 minutes I went down again, as we still had not received luggage. Staff had no idea what had happened or where luggage was. I had to enter storage myself where I finally found luggage.
- Before arriving I sent an e-mail to hotel chain's main address asking if they could help with tickets to Sagrada Familia. Request was forwarded to hotel, but they never got back to me. When arriving at hotel, there was no tickets available and no apology. Front office said waiting time is "about one month".That was a lie, it was 4 days when I checked later. We only stayed 3 days, so we missed Sagrada Familia.
- We ate at restaurant: Beautiful view, but unattentive staff. We got the food for free as the meat was poor and 50% fat. Neighbours also complained as it took ages to get food.
- Floor in room was very dirty
