Convenient location
Was a little disappointed with our stay. We chose this property because it was at a good location for us. The hotel is right off an exit on 81. It is within miles of Dunmore & Scranton. And very conveniently located to restaurants, bars, shopping, wineries, hiking, etc. Hotel was fairly clean but dated. The ceiling above our bed must of had a leak at some point. It was patched & painted but the patchwork was not very good and that section of the ceiling was painted a different color. Peeling wallpaper in room & around the hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, lots of hot water & good water pressure. Safe in the room did not work. Towels were like gold. We asked for extra towels 3 different times & were first told they didn’t have any?? Once by the front desk and then told twice they would get us some and never did. We asked the front desk again & told we were lucky they were the only 2 towels they had. Pool had a sign that said closed, sorry for the inconvenience but the next evening had a sign that the hot tub was just out of order. We were not looking for something fancy but this place needs updating.
