At check-in, the front desk girl was great. When I got to my room, the AC didn’t work so she gave me another room. In that room, The TV didn’t work, but thankfully she called a maintenance guy who educated us on how to make that happen. The bed was comfortable but very, very old and worn down in the middle. When I went to take a shower there was no wash rags or hand towels. I went to the front desk to ask for some, they said they do not provide them, only bath towels. I Find it unacceptable that a hotel chain like the Days Inn, with chains globally, cannot afford to have washrags and hand towels in their hotel rooms for their guests, at a $100 a night. Additionally, when booking the room, this was not conveyed so I did not know to bring my own. How are your overnight guests/customers supposed to bathe in your hotels while traveling overseas without washcloths and hand towels? It is very hot in Guam. I am from North America. I was grossly sweaty my whole stay. I was not there on vacation. I was there for work. One night only.
PLEASE PROVIDE WASHCLOTHES AND HANDTOWELS FOR YOUR GUESTS.
Then, in the morning when I went to check out, I asked the front desk to call me a cab to The airport. She said we have a shuttle van that will take you for $25. I said OK. I didn’t realize the airport was 1 mile away. So I paid $25 to go 1 mile. the staff are super friendly and none of this is their fault. This is the responsibility of the owners, management and Days Inn chain.
