By "mistake" we ordered a hotel this far away from the city, and unfortunately the tram was on strike. We tried to change our reservations, and first the hotel said that it would not be a problem for the hotel, but for Expedia. So we called Expedia, and they said they could help us if the hotel allowed it. When I told the hotel this they said that no, they had a 48- hour policy. I had the feeling that they could have helped us if they wanted to. Not much to see around the hotel, a big crossroad and a mall. A couple of eating places. The wifi was unstable, they had no bar menu in the noon and evening, no fridge in the room, the carpets should have been clean. None of the vending machines were in function and the staff didn't know the area too well. If you want to live in and see Dublin I would recommend another hotel closer to the city center.
