Central location is the best thing about this hotel, but apart from that I had higher expectations based on the reviews of the place. The bed was big, but too soft and the room was quite small. Some of the other rooms looked bigger though, but the hotel appears as old and in need for some rehab. The bath room was ok, but nothing special. We were in Brugge when there was a heatwave, and got a room in second floor over the restaurant of the hotel where the sun was shining all day. The room got incredibly hot and there was no air conditioning, so wouldn't choose this hotel on a warm summer day. We got a fan after asking the reception, and it got somewhat better. Also, the room shared terrace with another room and it would be very easy for someone from that room to get in as the balcony door could not be properly locked. There are also a lot of noise from garbage vehicles in the morning. City tax is also not included in the price. 8.7 euro for 2 nights.
