There was a horrible smell in the bathroom. There were not enough staff at breakfast and no one came to ask for tea or coffee, we always had to ask staff for it. There could have been more variety for breakfast, the pastries and cakes at breakfast were the same everyday. Each room should have an iron. We requested an iron and received one which didn’t work. The spa only has a steam room. They should try to fit a sauna and a jacuzzi as well.
The buffet was disappointing. The staff were not interested in looking after the guests. A group of 2/3 were busy having a natter. The house keeping staff were helpful and when coming back to the room, a couple of them Would just walk in and trying to be helpful And would not leave the room till a tip was given to them.
We weee suppose to have partial sea view but we had to look down and view little but of sea otherwise it was covered with trees. The staff at the reception was not cooperative at all. I have been to lots of hotel in juhu including JW Marriott but this hotel was disappointing. I would not go there again.
Did not refunded my money even though I am a regular customer and my daughter was extremely sick so couldn’t travel.
This was my second stay at this hotel. First time was in 2005. I was impressed then as much I was this time with huge refurbishment. Even with fine tooth comb I cannot find anything to complain about. Beautiful property- the Location. The Staff, Service, Food.... all round.
The staff accommodated an early check in at 4am, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. Staff also provided complimentary wifi both just before our check in and after we checked out while we waited to leave for our flight. Breakfast staff were fantastic. Nice to be able walk on the beach and that guard watched for your return to let you quickly back on the property. Love the pool side seaside view and service. Have stayed before and will stay again.
This is the hardest-to-write hotel review in all of my 59 countries visited thus far. As a matter of policy, I notified this property (7-weeks in advance) that I'm disabled on a cane & a mobility walker, needing early check-in as my flight arrives at 2:30AM. I arrived at the hotel at 4:25AM and was told by the night manager they were sold-out and that a/my room wouldn't be available until 2PM, some 9-plus hours later. I asked why, having given them my email address AND cell phone number, they failed to notify me of this by either method. The manager told me it's NOT their policy to respond to ANY requests. Due to health issues, I was extremely tired (28 hrs. travel time) and couldn't possibly sit at an adjoining couch until 2PM. I advised him I knew a room was available somewhere in the hotel. After two full hours of my phone calls to Orbitz & my editor and his repeated refusal to give me an available room, a room magically became available at 6:30AM. I asked the manager how that was possible. He stated someone had checked out just minutes ago and the room was readied. I was sitting 15 feet from him and NOBODY had come down to check out let alone vacated an occupied room. I advised him what he had done was incredibly unprofessional and deceitful and would be noted in my review. He stated once again he didn't care and he wouldn't be held accountable. The rest of the staff were wonderful except for the travel coordinator, my room was great and the food was excellent.
Good locations don’t close to shops. Beach is just behind the hotel
The location was ideal and the sea view room was brilliant. The only draw back was of housekeeping staff gathering around the room or inside the room for tips and that is what I felt unpleasant. Also experienced ringing the bell In my room to draw my attention when housekeeping service was not called for. Checking out took longer than anticipated. I was charged for couple of hours early check in even though the room was available. Breakfast was not worth it- wished booked Room only stay.
I love this hotel! If I ever come back to Mumbai, I will definitely stay here again
