I had an okay stay here, but it was a little worse than expected.
My room was scuffed with a dirty-feeling carpet, towels were like sandpaper, hallways were tiny so other rooms were heard, and the view was - No view at all, just a vast gable wall completely filling the view, feet away; a memorable view of Wall. Great. Everything felt slightly dingy, shabby...
However, positives included that the staff were very friendly and pleasant, and put on a good front. There's a comprehensive Supermarket right around the corner, and the Metro is also just a couple of minutes away - transport-wise, it was very convenient.
My fault here - also, I booked it at a set Sterling price, which I'd expected to pay, but I was asked to pay on checking in, in Euro - doing so made enough of a difference to matter, so look out for that; if you book in an expected currency, ask to pay in that currency, I'd suggest.
