Arriving later than expected because of a delayed flight, somewhat worried, because the hotel is unmanned at night, a pleasant lady was waiting, even though not informed of our time of arrival. She explained the surroundings and recommended a restaurant which was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The hotel advertises free WiFi, but this did absolutely not work in the room. We had to sit at the reception, which makes it complicated, and ended up feeling disconnected, which is a big deal when you want to check trip-advisor for food etc.
Next door to the magnificent Pantheon, the location is nothing short of amazing. Staying in the centre of Rome, we ended up walking everywhere, including to the Collosseum and Forum and the Piazza del Popolo. For a trip to the Vatican, which we did not have time for, it would probably be better to catch a bus.
The final dissappointment we had on our day of departure. We packed our bags and left the room in the morning (check-out time 10:30), leaving our keys at the reception, leaving our bags in the reception. When we got back to get our bags and were leaving for the airport, we were amazed when we asked to use the bathroom, the lady said it was "out of order". After staying in the hotel for two nights, she could not offer us to use the bathroom. Unacceptable. We were left with a disappointing feeling after an overall pleasant stay.
