This place was nothing like an All-Inclusive Resort at all, unfortunately. Everything about it was disappointing from the start and not like the experience the website advertised. There was suppose to be 2 restaurants, but there was only 1, and the “themed” dinner options every night were not the same as detailed on the website, and the food was absolutely terrible, like leftovers from another place’s buffet, barley warm & chewy like it had been sitting out all day. The alcoholic drinks were no better, watered down with minimal alcohol mixed in, if any. The staff treated us as if we were an inconvenience and unwelcome, instead of as paying guests. There was a hidden “environmental” fee that was never mentioned, and the website had also advertised Free Admission to Jaguar Park, but this was not true either. The free bike accommodation was available, but there were only a total of 4 to use, and 3 of them had chains that kept coming undone or flat tires. Normally not one to complain or write bad reviews, but I think in this case it’s important for future patrons to beware and know what they are really getting when they choose to stay at Kore “Retreat” Tulum. Hopefully they will take this feedback and make some major changes and adjustments for the better.
