Fantastic!
Lets face it, this is in Alaska. The word "posh" probably doesn't exist there. What this hotel do have in spades, is friendliness. I have stayed here more than once and they have literally been driving me anywhere I have needed to go. All of the staff have been super friendly and making it feel real, because they are.
The beds are very good! Actually better than most hotels I have been staying in. The rooms are clean and for the price, they are real spacious too. There is a free wifi that actually has good speeds and can be used for real work. A rare treat even for expensive hotels.
Within walking distance there are numerous places to eat. If you don't want to leave the room, you can also have some delivered to the door. Ask the front desk about options.
I will be booking again.
