We stayed here for 5 nights in two rooms. The size of the rooms were spacious, it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is an air-condiotion in every room that did not make too much noise. We were lucky to have rooms with a small terrace. The rooms we got faced one of the side street and not the main street, so street noices was at an acceptable level. You will find a lot of places to eat/drink nearby and also small shops if you need water bottles etc. People at the front desk was polite and friendly, some speaks better english than others. I see that a lot of people have a comment about the lack of an elevtor, finding the stairs a little bit hard, but I could not see that as a big problem. What I liked most of this place was that it was close to Barcelonata beach and only 10-15 minutes to La Ramblas. The area behind this hostel is also very nice with a lot of shops and good place to eat/drink. If you like parks, there is one just 5 minutes walk away. The only thing I did not like at all was the Wifi, it really sucks! I did not have any chance to connect as the wifi was extremely slow and unstable. They have a computer downstairs that you can use, but it costs 1 euro for 30 minutes. I will not recommend using that computer, the internet there was as bad as the wireless wifi! But all in all, a definitely good value for the money taking everything in consideration.
