I spent 3 great nights together with my partner and 12 year old son at Suites Tritone. 5 minutes walk from the Treve fountain but in a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle (Our room was facing the street with balcony). The staff (Ekatarina, thank you :) ) were extremely helpful and friendly.
It is Worth to note that Suites Tritone is a Room (as in a hotel), with a reception but is not an hotel.
The room has no Kitchen facilities so it is not an apartment as such.
However, The location is so Perfect. We had breakfast each morning in a breakfast bar 20 m round the corner and since we were on the go all day, then we basically sat on the balcony late evening and slept (very soundly) in the room.
Worth also adding that their were Electronic doors on all entrances (3) after reception closed at kl19. and main entrance was closed each evening.
On the first afternoon after arrival (kl 15.), we were able to visit the Treve Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navone by walking straight Down the street. Ticked those boxes within the first couple of hours.
We also took the hop on/off buses but discovered quickly that ancient Rome was quite compact. We walked sedately to the Vatican (which was furthest away) in ca 30 min.
Will recommend fast track to Vatican museums and Coleseum even though we didn' travel in peak season. Fast track wasn't necesssary for the other attractions.
Fantastic trip and perfect accomadation for a sightseeing trip.
