The whole stay was ruined by the INSANE thin walls and room door. While in bed, it felt like we were in an open room with our neighbouring guests. And if that wasn’t bad enough, you need to ring a door bell in order to get into the building in the evenings and at night. So with an 24/7 reception, we kept waking up to the door bell at all times. It literally felt like someone buzzed our own door bell. The night shift talked to someone for hours after 1am, and I feel like I was a part of the conversation. We stayed for two nights, and at 12am the final night we were so exhausted that we even tried to find a new hotel. No other comment from the employees than: «I’m sorry to hear that». Got a total of 4h sleep during those two nights.
Went for the parking option in a garage given by the hotel, as we had read that street parking is not very safe. An older man picked the car up, and was supposed to drive it to a nearby garage. To our surprise we found the car parked on the street 10-15 minutes later! We had to demand a photo proof that the car was actually in a garage when we asked the reception to confront the parking guy… In addition, the hotel tried to charge us a 2h late fee of €20 for not picking up the car at 5pm, even though we had informed the morning receptionist that we would be back from a day trip at 7pm, which she said was totally fine. After a 15min wait, we got that fee waivered.
