Hôtel Rendez-vous Batignolles

lovely room in very chic hotel, minimal but clean and well maintained just what we were looking for. We booked last minute after an Airbnb nightmare and we were thrilled!

AC system was turned off for the Fall but the temperatures in the room were so hot and stuffy. Couldn't open the windows at night because of the noise level.

We booked and paid for the superior room as its supposed to be a bigger room. When we checked in the room is literally a bed and a very small bathroom. The end of the bed is almost sticking to the wall from head the end and one side. if you are sleeping on the inside its hard to get out unless you are very petite person. The bathroom is extremely small. There is no closet in the room or a room to place your luggage. One day we left early and came back at night and found the room unclean and bed was not made. when we asked them them to clean it they said its too late to get it cleaned now but they gave us a free free breakfast which is very basic. The people were very nice but this place should not be called a hotel may be a hostel or a bed and breakfast specially for paying over $200 a night. Also what they call a hotel is located in a very small side street. hard to get Uber or cars in it. We have to walk with our luggage to the main street to get an Uber.

Nice spot for quick stay. Rooms are very very small just be aware. The location is decent close to many restaurants and good store to buy food water etc. opposite in main road. Finding the hotel is easy for taxi so its good. Did not see train station closeby but maybe around. Service was good from all staff, perhaps can be more friendly the woman receptionist and cleaner. The shower was disaster to be honest, water going in all direction, should change the shower head. It was annoying.

Loved our stay! This was our first stop on our European Vacation. Loved the decor and overall vibe. Espresso was offered in the lobby. The room was clean - small, but clean. It was in a great location, central in area full of more locals. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to metro, so you can easily get to all major sites. Perfect for a quick trip. Would definitely recommend!
