We had very high hopes for this property. We got the run around during our stay here and still getting the run around a week later.
The first day we arrived to this establishment we requested to upgrade our room and paid. The same day, we notice the curtains were broke, the lock on the balcony was broke, and our phone was not working. The on-site repair guy could not fix the phone but said it will be repaired by tomorrow. The front desk confirmed it was documented our phone was not working. We almost missed our horse back excursion the following day after we checked in due the front desk calling the broke room phone to inform us the horse back company is down stairs waiting for us.
They finally agreed to change our room. We are now in the second room where the light does not work. Again, the repair guy could not fix it and said someone will be coming in tomorrow to repair it, it never happened. The day before we checked out, our key cards were not working. The front desk said it was a malfunction and gave us new cards that did not work either. Security had to come to our door and break the lock in order for us to get in. Again; the repair guy said he could not fix the lock due to it being a system issue. Anytime we needed to leave the room, we would have to get security to get us into the room.
We now requested to speak to a manager. She agreed to refund us our upgrade we paid and resort fee. Now I’m home, no refund and nobody knows what I’m talking about.
