We made a reservation for a king bed for two nights through expedia. The night before our trip, I called the hotel directly to ask if our reservation could be modified, I only wanted to know if I could cancel the second night. The staff I spoke to proceeded to cancel my reservation in order to tell me what the cancelation fee would amount to, and then told me to rebook and make a new reservation at a more expensive higher rate. After calling several times and speaking to several staff members they gave me my reservation back but could only given me a queen bed and stated my king room was gone and the hotel was fully booked. I had paid for a king bed. We took the room because we had no other options. The next day, spent most of the day out of the hotel and when I returned at 3pm, found the room was not made or cleaned. I asked the front desk who told me they only clean the rooms every other day unless requested. This we were not told upon arrival and check in. When I requested the room be cleaned, I was told house keeping had left for the day. apparently it is listed on their website. I booked through expedia and this was NOT listed on the reservation. Overall not the best experience.
