The pool and water park were enjoyable, though some slides had bumps that need attention.
We were disappointed to find few stains on the bed linens and pillow cases as well as cushion cases were dirty and noticed they weren’t replaced, just rearranged.
The staff service was inconsistent. While some were friendly, many in the buffet and restaurants struggled with English, and we often had to call for someone to take our orders. In some restaurants, like the Mediterranean, we waited 45 minutes just for someone to take our order, and even then, only half of it arrived. The lack of proper management in the restaurants was evident, with long waits and full seating at buffets around 9 a.m. making it hard to find a place. The variety of food was good, but the quality was inconsistent—our well-done steak came out medium rare. Long queues for beef, chicken, or omelets were common, and it’s unclear why they don’t increase staff during peak hours.
We also had issues with our air conditioning, which wasn’t working in two of our rooms. It took speaking with multiple staff and managers over 30 hours before we were moved to different rooms. Some of the night staff were quite rude.
On several occasions, after tipping, the level of service declined. It seems many staff have high expectations for tips, so I wouldn’t recommend tipping.
On a positive note, the Brazilian restaurant was the best dining experience we had, and I highly recommend trying it!
