8/10 – Veldig bra

Perfectly nice hostel in central Buenos Aires
While generally nice, the staff nice and helpful, i have a few negative points and "warnings".
The closets in my (single) room, where you're supposed to be able to hang some clothes, and put your bags etc, smelled like a really old cellar or something, i guess kind of mildewy. So i never used them, kept the doors closed and it was fine.
The bathroom fan, which came on if the lights were on and you entered the bathroom, i believe could be used to fly an aeroplane. sounded like a fighter jet on full throttle. But you get used to that. it did it's job very well.
You are absolutely not allowed to bring alcohol into the Hostel. which is fine, but to a comedic degree... when i was leaving i had gone out and gotten a few bottles of wine to take back home, and was going to put them in my suitcase. A guy from the hostel spotted my plastic bag and proclaimed "is that wine!? it is not allowed to..!" It was fine when i told him i was leaving and just needed to get my suitcase and the bottles would disappear instantly.
One last thing, a little warning which might turn out important. The hostel is very strict on not letting anyone else in, besides registered guests (you get a wristband). So if you're out meeting new people, and then one of them become a _very_ good friend during the evening, you might have trouble inviting them in for a "nightcap". You will very likely be stopped at the entrance where someone sits _all_ the time.
