I recently stayed at the Leonardo Boutique Museumhotel and had a mixed experience. Initially, our stay was quite unpleasant due to several issues with our room. The room had a strong sewer-like odor, constant noise from upstairs and the hallway, and cleanliness issues, including a dirty floor and silverfish in the bathroom and under the carpet. Additionally, there were plumbing problems with water coming up from the drains in the shower and bathroom.
Despite these issues, the hotel staff, particularly Seth from guest relations, handled our complaints promptly and professionally. Although the hotel was overbooked and our booking was non-refundable, Seth made an exception and upgraded us to a Deluxe room on a higher floor. This new room was clean, fresh-smelling, and free from the previous issues, significantly improving our stay.
While our initial experience was far from ideal, the staff’s efforts to rectify the situation were commendable. If you decide to stay here, I recommend requesting a room on a higher floor to avoid similar issues.
