My husband and I are travelling a lot having at least 70 night on hotels each year. Came to Mondrain after awesome weekend with Formula 1 in Vegas and excellent service in Vegas to emtremely low level on service at Mondrian. We were not offered any of the advantages we are required to being gold members/ havind VIP access through Hotels,com. One of this advantages is free upgrade upon availability. First question when arriving was if we were interested in upgrade. This was quickly withdrawn when they understood we would not like to pay extra for upgrade- we thaught it was included , but suddenly no upgrade was possible after all. But, that was no big issue.. Bigger issue was it that te water was cut off throuh te whole day on our second day. The hotel had failed to inform us, so when getting up at 9:15 to start the day we discovered it was impossible to get a shower, brudh teath etc until 5 pm. Not acceptable, but the hotel staff didn't seem to care at all.. Also we had looked forward to sped time in the pool area- which was closed during all the 3 days we spent in LA.. Ended up spending all time and eat all meals elsewhere... Would not recommend. Poor service, poor information, facilities not working and also unable to provde water in the bathroom.. Stay away!! Great location, though..
