We did not have a great experience at Fiftyseven Hotel. The most disappointing experience was that our room was not directly accessible by elevator. One has to change the elevator on one floor and then use stairs to access the room. Considering the fact that we are seniors, it was difficult to navigate to enter/exit the room with luggage. Luckily, someone helped us with the luggage while checking in. But despite our request, the hotel did not change to a better accessible room.
The room by itself was very small, barely enough space to move around. The bed was was in one corner so it did not have a side table on one side. The bed was smaller than even a Queen size though on the site it was mentioned to have a King Bed. One had to climb over the other person to the corner side of the bed. Although the room had a kitchenette (not asked for) attached, it was of no use. It did not have any appliances working or any utensils. The room did not have an air conditioner. Although there was a table fan, there was hardly any space in the room to conveniently place it.
The intercom did not work as also the Bed lamp on one side of the bed. Not put right during our 3 day stay.
The only good part about the hotel was its location. Public transport options are easily accessible and are in close proximity. There are many good restaurants close by offering international cuisines.
Overall, won't be excited to stay in this hotel, next time when we visit Copenhagen.
