Wonderful staff, perfect location, very cute decor in the halls and the room was almost perfect: clean, cozy, modern, with a lovely Juliet balcony. Unfortunately, the room faced the street which meant quite a lot of noise at night as the window was quite thin, plus the room just under me had their TV on quite loud or were making some other type of noise (and I was wearing earplugs) so I barely had any sleep despite the mattress being extremely comfortable.
The other very weird thing was - ordering room service was quite a mission. There is no room service menu in the room (only for breakfast), you have to get one from reception (who had to actually make a copy for me coz they had just 1 laminated one), when I went back to my room and was ready to order, I rang reception as instructed and ordered food, but the menu didn’t have drinks! The receptionist first connected me to the bar to order drinks separately (what?) and when nobody picked up he said the bar would ring me back, which they did. All this just to order an evening meal to my room? In a 4 star hotel? When the food arrived (and was ok) the bill was just scribbles in someone’s notepad that I had to sign.
This is not at all fitting a 4 star level service. That’s why this is a 3 star review.
