Great location and excellent housekeeping staff. Check in was a bit slow as only one window was open to handle the guests. Elevators are tiny, so be prepared to wait a bit if you’re traveling with much luggage.
Room was clean. Bed was very firm. The tv had some issues where sound and/or picture would just randomly disappear.
At check in you pay the resort fee, which was we were well informed about beforehand. What we had not been informed about was the extra 100 per night that they tied up for a deposit.
The AC in our room did not work properly. It was very loud, and our room never got down to a comfortable temperature. Informed the front desk about this, and was told they would look into it. Nothing changed.
There’s construction going on, so be prepared for noice from about 8 am.
Overall experience was average. I’ve been to NYC many times, but I’ll not return to this hotel.
