It was easy to find, and a good base to explore LA. There's a bus right across the street - the number 2 bus - that you can take a couple of blocks and then end up at The Walk of Fame after crossing the street etc (Sunset Boulevard is parallel to the strett where Walk of Fame is). We asked the not-so-polite-but-helpful female receptionist where we needed to get off the bus, but her english was a bit difficult to understand. (Note that the bus only accepts exact change, meaning you can't bring a 20 dollar bill - bring dollar bills and coins). Check in itself was easy, a good thing is that they are open 24 hours so it doesn't matter if your flight is a bit delayed. Free parking, and we had no issues at all getting a spot. Room itself was... just fine. Its dated. Would not bring kids, elders or not even my parentes here. Neighborhood is a bit shady at night, so wouldnt walk around a lot. In the day there are a lot homeless people in the nearby streets, but other than staring and asking for some change they didnt bother us much. The room had an AC, and a fridge. Can't remember if they had a hair dryer or not, but I think not. There should be a safe, and the look on the door should be a lot more secure. Overall this place was just fine and the cleaning was decent, but probably wouldnt come back anyway. This is a two story type of place with no elevator, so if you end up at the top floor and have heavy luggage, its not gonna be too fun.
