Me and my girlfriend (in our early 20's) stayed here for 4 nights . We had a great time, and I think this small hotel has a lot to offer considering how cheap it is compared to other hotels in Paris.
The staff was very friendly, from the receptionists to the cleaning personell to the woman who seemed to be in charge of the breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast was simple but very good. Its a French style breakfast with croissants and white bread, maybe too white for whole grain loving Norwegians like us. But like I said, it was still good.
The hotel is of typical French standard I guess. The rooms ARE very small, but they do look nice. The location of the hotel is also good. It's a nice area, kind of in the outskirts of central Paris - not in the middle of any of the central touristy arrondisements. The hotel is literally right next to the Daumesnil metro station (where the 6 and 8 lines run), which we loved. We used the metro system extensively in our stay - and a lot of the typical tourist attractions is within a 20 minute reach with the Metro.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're on a budget.
