The hotel is a nice small hotel very central in Paris, about a fifteen minute walk to Notre-Dame and right next by Place de la Republique. The rooms are small, but we never had any problems with that. The staff were nice and helpful as well, and even the elevator was kind of cute (room for two!)
The only issue was the wi-fi, which was advertised by the hotel. The wi-fi in general was good, it didn't have this annoying web page interface, but functioned like a proper wi-fi internet, and when we had reception, the speed seemed adequate. However, our room didn't have reception, which was a problem. The staff tried helping by resetting the servers but unfortunately I think the issue was that the room simply was out of range of the signal - if we moved out in the hallway or down into the lobby we were able to get signal just fine. As wi-fi is becoming increasingly important, especially if you're on business, I think it's up to the hotel to make sure you have a wi-fi that works satisfactory for all guests.
We asked to be reimbursed for this as we essentially paid for something that was advertised but which we didn't get, but the hotel told us that since this was a problem only we had, they couldn't be held responsible, which is poor customer service in my opinion - it would have been quite easy for them to verify our problem by testing the reception in our room (We tried with three devices)
In short: Nice hotel, but make sure you check the wi-fi signal in the room you get!
