The shower head and the faucets in the kitchen and in the bathroom were overgrown with what seemed to be bacteriae. The cupboard was falling apart. The toilet had a faulty design, and got clogged, and the lamps in the bathroom were dirty. The water boiler was rusty inside. The lock on the door may take some figuring out, if you are not used to that particular system. There is no air condition, so expect to sweat at night. We were surprised by some locals partying and singing in the backyard on the night we arrived, so don't expect much sleep, either. The staff's english is really shaky, so you should be able to read and speak some german. However, the neighbourhood was kinda cool, with some pleasant cafés and restaurant nearby. The streets are very dark at night, but public transportation is a stone's throw away. Some apartments are more modern than others, so it's basically a game of chance. The beds were comfortable enough. Nothing fancy, as one might expect, but they could at least keep the place clean and hygienic.
