You come as a guest, and leaves as a friend
It's easy to asume that there is something wrong with this guesthouse, because of the very cheap price. However it has a good location with only 3min to the subway, and to HongDae, where you can spend many hours.
The personell is really friendy and they all speak english. The korean on the other hand, not too much but it's there. They will always be ready to help you with pretty much anything, and don't be suprised if they take you to dinner somewhere.
The livingroom/kitchen area is a nice place to chill, and talk to other travlers. You will never get boared as there are always someone in and out, so if you travel alone this is the perfect place to meet new people.
during the weekends (and sometimes during the weekdays) the staff and some of the guest goes out to hit the town. And again the personell will take very good care of you even if it's no longer working hours.
One possible bummer is the bathroom, it's two of them. meaning 2 showers and 2 toilets and alot of people. The Bathrom is not topcondition, but you'll get used to it.
Another thing is that the walls are rather thin, so if people in the livingroom is beeing a little loud at night (or whenever you're sleeping) you can hear them. But it's usually quiet after 11pm.
