The best part of my stay at this hotel was the service. Their english was rather good, and they were professional and helpful. The breakfast was a well-made english breakfast, but with a nice addition of pastries and fruits. My room was a standard single room with a king size bed. It was spacious, clean and modern. It had a all the features you expect from a room and even a clothing iron, which I found useful. The window didn't open, but the A/C was efficient. The bathroom was also clean, had modern interior, good water pressure/temperature and towel drying rack. The gym was small and only had a single thread mill, which caused a queue, but it had the equipment you need for basic training. The hotel is not central, but the public transportation is good, and you have an underground station nearby. I chose it because it very close to a conference I was attending. I have only two complaints about this hotel: 1. The bed was too hard. I like a firm bed, but this was too much even for my taste. This might be a cultural thing though, and maybe many others would disagree. 2. The Internet service at the hotel was very expensive and poor in quality. I paid a high amount for three days of internet connection, and in the evenings it was so slow I couldn't not even do basic browsing, and had to resort to my mobile data network. But overall my stay was a good experience, and I will consider going back there again if I have business around those parts in Barcelona in the future.
