Originally, I had hoped to stay at the famous Beverly Hills hotel or the "Pretty Woman" hotel, Regis Beverly Wilshire. Both were fully booked due to the Grammy Awards, and I am so grateful for that, or I would not have discovered this GEM of a place! Everything was simply perfect. Seriously - I cannot flaw a single thing! From the moment I arrived, the wonderful team of bellboys made me feel like a princess. The check-in was super fast, courteous and warm (few hotels manage to combine these aspects successfully). Breakfast was easily the best I've had in Los Angeles (yummy pancakes and eggs benedict) and - crucially - their coffee was superb. The room was spacious and stylish. The location is great for Beverly Hills shopping, and even if it wasn't, the hotel lends guests a complimentary town car with a chauffeur (all of whom are gorgeous). One of them literally drove me 200 yards to a post office and was too polite to tell me to just walk it! (I didn't know it was quite that close.) The concierge managed to get me into impossible places at very short notice and I ended up dining next to famous actors on each of the two nights. Somehow, they also communicated with the receptionist at the restaurant while I was there, because the town car was literally there moments after I paid my bill. The whole thing was so seamless that it almost felt like a dream. This hotel was a wonderfully pleasant surprise and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Los Angeles now.
