Reception and bell staff were quick and professional.

I called about an issue with one of the TVs and response time was immediate.
The restaurant / bar area however gives the impression of having been opened two days ago, not two years ago. And that pulls down the overall experience for me. Fruit flies at the bar (both nights), and at our breakfast table (both days). Lots of staff running around, but I struggled to understand what they were all doing, because there were never that many people at the bar nor the breakfast service during my stay, yet service was slow. First time I’ve been to breakfast at a five star hotel where I’ve had to actively flag a waiter for coffee and water because it was never offered. And yes, we waited. First time I’ve also been served luke warm coffee at this kind of place as well. We were also never offered a refill. Service was slow, getting food was slow, and several orders were wrong upon delivery (3/4 things were incorrect on day two). They of course asked to deliver new dishes, but we’d been waiting thirty minutes already. This level of I’d think ‘basics’ was just a let down for me at a five star hotel. The food we got was good.
