Hazlitt's Hotel is beyond brilliant! We stayed for 5 nights, not 3. Managed to book 2 extra nights just 1 month before we went on holiday. The staff;Greg and all the others were fantastic people. Very friendly and down to earth,we felt that they really cared about us. The hotel had a old fashioned charm, and the interior with it's chandeliors, four poster beds, the sofa IN the windowpost, the bathroom and the hidden warderobe,tv ,blueray player, minibar and safe-wow!!! :) We felt that we had a little home there in Soho. The honesty bar was really nice-you could make drinks or have a beer ,soft drink or a bottle of wine as long as you wrote down the name of your room ,what you drank and how much. I came across the hotelcat and was able to cuddle him twice. I love cats!<3 When it comes to food,I would recommend The Bakers Basket, the fruit yogurt and a plate of various fruits and berries of the season. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but The Bakers Basket was a great treat! :) The bed was very comfy-we slept like children!
So...if you want a hotel that is a bit different from what you are used to,choose this place. We had a most wonderful stay. It's perhaps a bit expensive, but for us it was really worth it.I will highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends ,family and relatives. If I suddenly win 25 million NOK,I will for sure hire the Dr John Snow room for 3 weeks,3-4 times each year! A 4 star hotel ,but with 5 stars experience <3
