Okay if you like to lounge
Was super excited to stay here, kind of a walk down memory lane. My grandfather used to have timeshare here and as children we enjoyed the pool and slide the whole day.
Check was good, no wait, we arrived around 9:30 pm. The receptionist was overall nice. I did not like the $400ish hold which included daily resorts fee. These resort fees are getting ridiculous. I comprehend the hold for incidentals but gee wiz!
They also tried to get my husband and I do a timeshares premium; no thanks after a 4 1/2 hour drive I just want to check in. They were not pushy or anything.
The room-it looked clean but the floor felt kinda like if they mopped and there was still dirt that dried. We ended up ordering a swifter sweep since the room did not have a broom. Maybe I’m just a clean freak.
The beds were comfortable, sheets were clean. Kitchen was stocked with basic utensils to make a good dinner.
We used the grills by the pool. My husband was presently surprise they were super clean.
The pool area had plenty of lounging chairs, and provided complementary towels. The slide why we booked here since we have kids was maybe up and running on and off which is annoying since it’s the sale point! It would be open maybe for a hour closed for 20 minutes then open again for “maintenance” which seems like lyes because it would open again.
We did enjoy the pool area but not as much as I thought. Wish there were more activities on the resort.
The bar/food seems over priced so we passed
